CAN'T WAIT TO DESIGN MY OWN VIDEO GAME

Spoilers. I'm designing a video game one day.

I have no idea when it's going to be but it's going to happen! I have been watching a lot of videos on some of the old video games I used to play and it's making me so happy. I miss a time when video games were made to be completed and to be the most fun they could possibly be. No DLC. No pay to win. No updates. I feel like when you don't have a chnace to update something, you really give it your best to create something as timeless as it can be. Once something becomes updatable you can always make room to add things later... But with the games from my childhood you really had to make a full game. Maybe this is another reason why I love film making. Whatever it is, you basically only get one shot to make it happen. You can't update a movie once it's filmed and out. (Isn't stopping most modern movies from being bad, but that's a conversation for another time).

I take so much inspiration from gaming, especially when it comes to the films I make and plan on making. I really miss old games man. Like movies of the time there was just so much more love, passion, care and risks taken. So much to learn from the past.
