A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Tonight is the earliest I am going to bed in a long time. Like my sleeping pattern for the past couple months has been crazy. I'm a morning person. I love waking up early. But I also understand why it's so hard for most of society to do that. I've been going to sleep at like 2am everyday. But so I can fix my sleeping pattern I've decided to set a new bedtime for myself. I start getting ready at 11pm and make sure I'm asleep before midnight.
I like waking up early not only because I have more the day, but I have non distracted time. When I wake up before everyone else I don't need to worry about being distarcted by my phone. People calling me, tempting me away from what I need to do. It's time that I can truly have to myslef whilst the world is still asleep. I want to work my way to 5am wake ups. Anytime I have done that in the past I have felt great. I just haven't been able to sustain it more then a week. So I'm going to start with 7:30am and work my way back maybe a week at a time.
No one really talks about sleep too much. I listened to an audiobook once about the importance of sleep called 'sleep smarter'. That really opened my eyes to how important sleep is and what it really does for us. Would highly recommend.
